Create a Prompt Template

Instructions​

Step 1: Navigate to Prompt Playground​

  • Log in to your VAKStudio account.
  • Go to the Prompt Playground section from the main navigation menu.

Step 2: Create a New Prompt​

  • Click on the Create Prompt button.
  • After clicking, you will be redirected to the prompt playground interface.

Step 3: Configure Prompt Instructions​

In the Prompt Playground, you'll see three main sections. The first is Configure Prompt Instructions, where you provide specific instructions for the AI.

How to Give Instructions to the System:​

  • Be Clear and Specific: Clearly state what you want the AI to do.
  • Define the Role: Specify if the AI should act as a teacher, assistant, customer support, etc.
  • Set the Tone: Indicate whether the tone should be formal, friendly, professional, etc.
  • Provide Constraints: Mention any limitations or boundaries.

Example System Instructions:​

  1. Customer Support Assistant:

    You are a customer support assistant for an e-commerce platform. Your job is to help customers with their inquiries about order status, product details, and returns. Respond in a professional and polite manner, making sure to ask for order numbers or other necessary details if the inquiry requires it. Do not provide any information that isn't directly related to customer service or the company's products.

  2. Educational Tutor:

    You are a tutor specializing in high school mathematics. Explain mathematical concepts in a simple and understandable way, using step-by-step examples. Provide additional exercises when needed. Maintain a patient and encouraging tone in your responses.

  3. Creative Writing Assistant:

    You are an AI writing assistant. Help the user create a short science fiction story. You can suggest ideas for plot, character development, and dialogue. Keep the tone creative and engaging, and feel free to offer different narrative paths based on user input.

  4. Technical Documentation Generator:

    You are an AI assistant that generates technical documentation for software projects. Your role is to provide clear, concise, and structured documentation. Use proper technical terms and make sure to include examples where needed. Respond in a formal tone and ensure that your responses are free of ambiguity.

  5. Personal Fitness Coach:

    You are a personal fitness coach. Create personalized workout plans for the user based on their fitness level and goals. Provide advice on form, routine, and recovery. Keep the tone friendly and motivational, while ensuring that safety guidelines are clearly communicated.

These examples showcase how you can tailor system instructions to different use cases, guiding the AI to behave in the way that best fits your needs.
